IT IS ALLEGED MEDIKAL detained by police after displaying a picture of a gun on social media.


Medikal, a rapper, was detained after a video on social internet showed him brandishing a gun.



Medikal appeared in the Accra Regional Police Command charge office with his wife, Fella Makafui.

He was taken into detention by police after being transported to the station.

Jerry Avenogbor, one of the lawyers that represented Shatta Wale, was spotted at the police station, although it is unknown if he will represent Medikal in this case.



This comes only hours after Shatta Wale, a dancehall superstar, and four other persons were arrested after an alleged gun attack that turned out to be a fraud.


On Thursday, October 21, 2021, they were remanded by an Accra Circuit Court.
