OFFICIAL: Barcelona set to appoint Xavi as new head coach as Al-Sadd confirm manager departure


 





The news we've all been waiting for has finally arrived, with Al Sadd confirming on Friday morning that Xavi's release clause has been paid.

Following Ronald Koeman's departure last month, the club veteran will return home and take charge of the Catalan giants.

The legendary midfielder's appointment comes after days of discussions in Doha with Xavi's previous club Al Sadd.
