- Nkrumah supported the establishment and expansion of numerous schools and colleges, including Mfantsiman Girls’ Secondary School, Ghana National College of Cape Coast Oguaa, and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), among others.

- He played a crucial role in expanding healthcare infrastructure by transforming Korle Bu into a teaching hospital, establishing the Ghana Medical School, and providing free medical care to citizens.
